Finding ourselves in the future
Summary
How are we to act in the face of existential risks? How can we meet the uncertainty and complexity of the future with hope? If we are all to live well and thrive on one planet, profound changes in our ways of life will be required.
This talk introduces Three Horizons, a simple but powerful futures practice that helps people see patterns of life, understand their role in sustaining or changing them, and convene conversations for transformative action. It focuses on how futures practice can cultivate hope, agency, and future consciousness in practical settings.
